Sun, Sand, and Surf

Ripley's Aquarium

At the Boardwalk

We headed to the new Boardwalk that runs along a portion of Myrtle Beach after celebrating Easter. We intended this to be a fun way to spend our morning. As it turned out, it was torture for Max to be that close to the water and not be in it. And what's torture for Max is torture for us all...

Possessed on Easter

We celebrated Easter our second day at the Beach. Somehow that sneaky rabbit even found us in Myrtle Beach and hid Easter eggs around our condo for Max to enjoy. And did he ever enjoy it. Max seems to share my love for all things sugar.

Getting to the Beach

Max, Jonathan and I had a great week at Myrtle Beach! Here's a whole lotta photos for you to enjoy. Max was a champ in the car. It's clear that traveling is in his DNA.

Max Meets Peter Cottontail

Max and I went to an awesome Easter egg hunt today. We met up with some friends of ours from our Mommies Group and enjoyed an hour of fun. There was an Easter Bunny, an art project, a couple of parachutes, storytime, a ton of great toys, and even a lil magic. Considering all of the fun we had, I still think Max's favorite part was eating two Hershey Kisses on the way home.

At the Library

I can't remember if these pictures are from last week or the week before. But they're definitely pre-haircut photos. Max and I have been visiting the Commerce Twp Library on a weekly basis. This week we visited the Milford Library for the first time. Both are great! Typically when we visit the library, Max will spend some time playing with the trains and puzzles while I pick out a few books to check out to take home with us. I also try and find a kid friendly DVD to rent for our Friday night movie nights. Last Friday we started "The Land Before Time". Unfortunately, the parents are killed early in the movie and this was very difficult for Max (and for us to explain). Needless to say, I'm going to have to stick to the kids films I've seen. So many of them involve killing off the parents...what's up with that!
