Prep for Mother's Day at Preschool

In preparation for Mother's Day Tea at Max's preschool, Max and I decorated this paper doll to look like Mommy.  Although I rarely wear pig tails, I think Max did a pretty good job with the project.

The Anti-nap: Part II

Max is still trying to forgo his daily nap.  I've given up the fight and have been allowing him to "skip" it.  Even without the structured nap time he's still falling asleep on the couch, in my room, and in the car.  My new plan is to have Max have quiet time up in his room every afternoon.  He can take his DVD player up there to watch a movie or play with his toys, but he has to spend an hour in his room by himself.  Today was the first day we've done this.  The bottom picture is how it went.  I think it's a huge success!  (Thanks for the tip, Dad and Jacky!)

Family Photos

This is the best we could do for a family photo.  Max's face is a little goofy, but this is the best of the four we took:)

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter Weekend!  It started with a visit from the Zoll family on Saturday and ended with a huge brunch on Sunday.

Max, Lucy, and I had a quick visit with Tonya and Brady last week.  Here's one of the photos Tonya captured of Max.  What a cutie!

Opening Day

We reunited with my moms' group this week for a Tigers Opening Day Party.  Max and I had a great time with our old buds.  We've missed seeing them recently so it was wonderful to get back together with all of them.  The kids played baseball, ran around throwing leaves, enjoyed the toys inside, ate hot dogs, and topped it all off with Dippin Dots.  The party was such a treat!

Family Walk

The Anti-Nap

Max doesn't want to nap anymore so we're attempting to cut them out of our daily routine.  So far, anytime we're in the car in the afternoon he conks.  One day this week he fell asleep in the car then fell back to sleep on the couch with Pico.  They were pretty cute.
